Sure, what problems are you encountering? You can contact me at my Blender Blog [Tutorial/ Interactive Help/Forum]. I'm still learning, but would love to help. See if you can follow the directions in the video, and let me know any issues that arise.

Yes, I know the basics of UV mapping at least. If you're trying to create a UV unwrapped and rigged model in Blender, Learning Blender: A Hands-On Guide to Creating 3D Animated Characters by Oliver Villar is a really good book that runs you through the entire process of, modeling, texturing (UV unwrap), and animating a human model. It even includes access to video tutorials and reference material.

UV unwrapping is also demonstrated in this tutorial of making a basic game, he uses it to texture the Coke cans and cacti.
 www.youtube.com/playlist?list=… There are many tutorials on youtube for you to check out, and you can contact me with any specific problems and I'll see what I can do.

Basically UV unwrap allow you to project textures from a flat picture, created in another software (most of the time) onto your 3D model.
Press U to unwrap after selecting the faces you want. You can paint the textures in blender, or export the unwrap to be textured in another software. Let me know what you need and I'll try and assist you!

It is possible. You can export the UV map into gimp, paint it and then re-import it into blender as a png. Here's a video of Blender UV mapping in gimp. www.youtube.com/watch?v=p9-Ps8…

To learn UV basics and create a character mesh that's properly mapped, follow these tutorials. (3 and 4 show how to unwrap a model, 1 and 2 introduce you to unwrapping)
www.youtube.com/watch?v=42XCrt… I's smart to map a test grid first as to properly unwrap the model.

Also, check out the book I previously mentioned, it explains how to UV unwrap a model in detail, very handy.
If gimp doesn't work you can also paint textures in Blender (both are mentioned in the book).
Paint texture in Blender basics www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nj8dko…;

There are many other tutorials on Youtube you can look at too!

Try it out! Save it as a different filename, so you can always revert if you mess up. If you encounter any problems, just let me know! Best of luck on your Blendevor!

there's a script error. When I try to use "Shaderless", It gives me an error says "AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'use_shaderless".

Cool colors. A little bit hard to see the character, but she does look pretty cute.

The background objects are pretty neat and it's cool seeing the difference between their 3-D-ness and the 2-D character.

Hadn't heard of MMD before. Looks interesting. ^_^
